Talent Mobility Associate Specialist

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration: 3-months

Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.45/hour

Role Purpose

Versatile team player with high attention to detail. Supporting a variety of topics within the Talent Mobility lifecycle, this role helps assess incoming inquiries to determine how to answer directly or triage out to other team members to support. High proficiency in technology systems and ability to navigate a variety of vendor portals to search for and gather information is key. This role will also focus on maintaining records to ensure that policies, processes, and internal customer resources are up to date. Liaise with internal teams as well as vendors with professionalism and a sense of urgency. Utilize time management skills while managing competing priorities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Triaging ServiceNow Talent Mobility tickets to the team and answering Tier 1 queries (50%)
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to find information and record appropriately (25%)
  • Reviewing Talent Mobility documentation around standard operating procedures, policies, user guides, reporting, and processes, and updating as needed (15%)
  • Handling necessary paperwork for transfers, such as updated employment contracts, visa documentation, and tax withholding adjustments (10%)

Marginal Job Functions

  • Other incidental duties, such as case authorizations in vendor tools (10%)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year of experience in an HR function for a global corporation (required)
  • Experience in mobility and/or immigration (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, HRIS, and ATS systems (e.g., Workday); experience with ServiceNow preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal relationship skills, including consultative and relationship management skills
  • Proven success adhering to project schedules and managing moderate sections of projects
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of compliance requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, and represent the organization on specific projects
  • Archiving and scanning physical and electronic immigration, relocation, and tax files
  • Adherence to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and taking adequate control measures to prevent injuries to self and others, protect the environment, and prevent pollution under their span of influence or control
